A previewer is used to display a file in one format in another. GPHIGS_GUI, RLE or PostScript files are displayed on an X11 screen (print preview).
NB : GPHIGS-GUI does not provide a Previewer, neither for PostScript nor RLE. However, in the OPGS / contrib / src directory a contrib X (URT) is available as a source which enables an RLE previewer to be generated. For PostScript files, simply link between the previewer available on the workstation and psview.
By selecting single preview RLE, a choice menu of files is displayed. By clicking on xxxRLE.xxx, the RLE file is interpreted and displayed on the screen. This controls display generation.
If several files had been generated (xxx.RLE.001, xxx.RLE.002, ..) by clicking on Multi preview RLE and by selecting xxx.RLE.*, all the files will be reread in the same window (see Previewer chapter) and a drawing may be animated (generation of a 3D film).
To quit the previewer, select the option Close from the menu in the upper left corner.
