RLE previewer is only provided as a source code with GPHIGS_GUI (contrib X-Window toolkit URT) and is used as follows :
NB : A more recent version of URT toolkit may be retrieved on an ftp server.
The various options that enable rle2x11 to be used are available in :

With the mouse, various manoeuvres are possible :
Left button : "zoom in" centred on the cursor
Middle button : pan centred on the cursor
Right button : "zoom out" centred on the cursor
Left or right shift button : displays the cursor coordinates in the X11 window and the RGB components of the pixel. indicated
- Multi preview RLE :
During a display for an animation, the interpreter opens a single window.
For example, by selecting xxx.RLE.* if 'n' RLE files have been generated.
The first phase is slower and reads all the files by displaying them successively in the window.
The second phase can then start, using the mouse in the following way :
- Left button : END->START animation
- Middle button : END->START animation, step-by-step
- Right button : START->END animation
- Left shift button : continuous START->END animation
- Middle shift button : displays the requested drawing speed
- Right shift button : continuous START->END then END->START animation
Quit previewer mode by closing the MOTIF window (select Close from the menu at the top left of the window)
