3.6. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

To install OPGS from Windows NT or Windows 95, insert the Setup disk ( DISK #1) into the floppy disk drive and run SETUP.EXE by double-cliking it in File Manager or Explorer. When Setup satrts, it displays a welcome dialog box.

Click to the next button to continue . Setup displays the "Choose Destination Location" dialog Box and suggest you a preassigned default directory .Click to the browse button to open a dialog box that shows the OPGS directory assignment . You can accept or change the suggested location.

Click to the next button. Setup display the installation options. You can choose to install OPGS 6.0inone of three ways :

Custom Installation

TYPICAL INSTALLATION

Typical Installation, the default, is the preferred method. This option installs OPGS all components on your hard disk drive in a default configuration.

COMPACT INSTALLATION

Compact installation is the option which installs GPHIGS SDK an PHIGURE SDK, without others OPGS components, on your hard disk. Performthe compact installation if you want only the OPGS developpment components.

CUSTOM INSTALLATION

Select the custom installation option if you are not installation all components, or if you are adding new files to an existing installation. You can use the Custom Installation dialog box to specify which components of OPGS to install.

Click to the next button. Setup display the Select Program Folder. The preassigned default folder name is choose. You can accept this folder name or change it.

Click to the next button to start the installation of the components you are selected on your hard disk.
