2. Set the environment variable OPGS_HOME, if it is not allready set. To verify that this variable is set in the command line type the "set" command to display the list of all environment on the system. if the variable is not positionned run the command file OPGSVARS.BAT located in the OPGS main directory.
you can also manually type the follwing command:
set OPGS_HOME=\usr\g5g\OPGS
3. Compile and link a demonstration program
For GPHIGS in demos\GPHIGS\C, in the visual C/C++ environment open the makefile
CheckInstallation.mak and build the program.
4. Run this program. It prints the list of linked drivers, the license status and several informations concerning the system.
Note:
Many demonstration program requires a workstation type. The following lists the most commonly used types:
- Windows driver 8773
- CGM Clear Text output file 10
- RLE output file 8276
- PostScript output file 80791
etc. (see GPHIGS User Guide for more information about GPHIGS drivers)
