A knowledge of the basic PHIGS concepts is useful for understanding PHIGURE. Names of GPHIGS functions all start with the letter p and in this chapter they are all written in bold type. As this chapter only deals with concepts, it does not include any description of the parameters. The GPHIGS C functions manual gives the full C binding for these functions.
