The archive files generated by GPHIGS are in a specific binary format. We provide a tool to transform binary archive files to clear text and vice versa. This tool is located in the contrib directory.
GPHIGS does not support metafile functions: READ ITEM, INTERPRET ITEM, WRITE ITEM have no effect.
