PEXlib defines a Server Structure Store which allows GPHIGS to copy posted structure networks from the client to the server. In this mode structure editing and workstation attribute manipulations are performed by the server. GPHIGS does not send the content of the CSS for each manipulation. This mode is very good for local manipulations if the server is optimized.
If this mode is not implemented on the server, GPHIGS uses Immediate Mode.
