Device coordinates depends on printer capabilities. The %ps directive can be used to adapt device coordinates origin and size to each particular PostScript plotter.
This driver can also be used in metric mode by setting the %ds directive. In this case the width and height parameters of %ps are ignored but the origin of the plot is used.
