Reprocessing of Multi WAZ in Mississippi Canyon, Ewing Bank & Atwater Valley

Fusion M-WAZ

The Fusion M-WAZ reprocessing program employs multiple modern processing technologies to provide a substantial uplift in image quality This reimaging program is comprised of data covering more than 1,116 Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) blocks (~27,000 square kilometers), in the Mississippi Canyon, Atwater Valley and Ewing Bank areas, from 3D WAZ programs acquired by TGS and Schlumberger between 2008 and 2012. This area is expected to remain a high priority for E&P companies in the foreseeable future.

This area is a highly prospective salt province with multiple discoveries. It consistently attracts high levels of licensing activity in the regular BOEM lease sales. Proximity to infrastructure makes this one of the most economic basins in the World for offshore hydrocarbon exploration and production.
