We have two options to remove these artifacts. 

Option One:

One option removes footprint by trace-mixing and filtering.

Option Two

A KxKy option detects and removes notches in KxKy domain.  The KxKy option is the preferred option.  This works on time slices (time, line, cdp) and transforms each slice to KxKy.  Notches, local deviations, are automatically detected, and filtered.  These filters can also be modified by the user.
