Summary
2Dcubed technology is the process of creating a seismic 3D cube from a multi vintage 2D database. In Europe TGS has applied the2Dcubed process to the entire basin of interest, a 1,1 million km2 seamless 2Dcubed project called the J-Cube. This presentation is an update of our J-cubed explainer video from the webinar archives (Simon Baldock, March 2019) showing data examples from the Barents Sea down to the Southern Gas Basin and how we use this information internally for 3D streamer planning and AI tool testing. J-cube allows for lower cost regional analysis allowing us to "recycle" 2D data for use where sparse 3D information is required.
