Currently the Beagle Sub-Basin and the inboard Browse Basin and Vulcan Sub-Basin of the Northwest Shelf project are complete with additional phases being added in 2021.
2Dcubed is a unique technology from TGS for generating a 3D seismic migration volume from a set of 2D seismic lines. It uses an advanced structurally conformable interpolation algorithm to maximize the potential of existing 2D multi-vintage in generating one contiguous 3D data volume. The volume can be used for regional interpretation and optimization of 2D/3D survey designs and positioning.
North West Shelf completed 2Dcubed covers 270,000sqkm area, Interpolated 3D volume has been generated using input legacy data from 191 vintages consisting 6370 lines and 225,000kms of 2D data.
