TGS has more than 2,480 km2 of high-quality 3D seismic data and an extensive amount of geological data over the Utica formation. Our multi-client onshore 3D surveys, Firestone, Freeport and Waterford are located within the central Appalachian Basin in Ohio. These high resolution, wide aperture surveys will provide critical data for geotechnical evaluations of the Utica-Point Pleasant fairway while enabling further exploration and development of secondary zones within the Devonian to Cambrian interval.

Las Animas

TGS’ Cheyenne located in southeast Colorado and encompasses a large portion of Cheyenne and Tioga counties and covers 1,813 sq km. This survey offers higher resolution imaging of the Cherokee Atoka, the Morrow Channel oil play, and the subtle structural elements of the Mississippian oil play.
