Jeanne d'Arc 3D

High Density 3D covering approximate 5,000 square kilometers in Jeanne d'Arc basin

Jeanne d'Arc HD3D

The project covers approximately 5,000 square kilometers of high-density 3D (HD3D) data and

encompasses multiple Exploration Licenses, Significant Discovery Licenses and sections of the open acreage included in the annual Jeanne d'Arc Bid Rounds. PGS’ Ramform Atlas performed the acquisition, utilizing their high-resolution Geostreamer® technology. This data will provide the industry with the first modern comprehensive, HD3D dataset, covering a majority of the acreage in the only producing region of Offshore Canada.

The Jeanne d’Arc HD3D survey borders Newfoundland’s prominent producing fields such as Hibernia, Terra Nova, White Rose, North Amethyst and Hebron.

Acquisition commenced in Q2 2019 and was partially completed in Q3 2019. The survey was acquired using 9,000 meter offset 3D GeoStreamer® technology. Final Kirchhoff PSTM data products for the project area acquired in 2019 and final data is now available.
